South Korean boyband ZE:A member Park Hyung-sik, attended KOCCA Music Studio’s special performance ON THE K:A on June 17. He was accompanied by his squad member Kim Dong-jun at the fan meeting. They treated the audience to several ZE:A songs. But that’s not all. Park Hyung-sik, who maintains a great camaraderie with BTS member V gave a lovely shoutout to his friend and K-pop idol, winning the hearts of the BTS Army. While on stage, he lent his voice to V’s popular track Chrisman Tree. The song was released for the K-drama Our Beloved Summer, featuring Park Hyung-sik and V’s common friend and actor Choi Woo-shik.
In a video dropped on X (formerly Twitter), Park Hyung-sik was seen singing a snippet of Christmas Tree. The song was originally released back in 2022. Dressed in a black shirt and beige trousers, the ZE:A vocalist entertained the audience with V’s song rendition. Kim Dong-jun, seated beside Hyung-sik, also vibed to the beats of the soulful number. “ON THE K:A. Hyungsik sings a snippet of Taehyung’s song, Christmas Tree,” read the note accompanying the clip. Hyung-sik also crooned some of his own K-drama songs like Lean On Me from Doctor Slump.

The BTS Army was over the moon after witnessing Park Hyung-sik’s performance and reacted to the video on the micro-blogging platform. “First FRI(END)S in his Instagram post and now a cover of Christmas Tree at his recent fan meeting. Hyung-si loves Taehyung (V). The only ship I approve,” gushed one user. “He’s so sweet,” complimented another. “Thank you,” said a fan.

Park Hyung-sik and V belong to the five-member Wooga Squad which is a close-knit circle comprising Choo Woo-shik, rapper Peakboy and actor Park Seo-joon. According to a report by Koreaboo, Hyung-sik and V first met each other on the sets of the famous K-drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. Their friendship bloomed from there and has been going strong ever since.
On the work front, Park Hyung-sik was last seen in the medical drama Doctor Slump, co-starring Park Shin-hye. Meanwhile, V is currently serving his mandatory 18-month tenure in the Korean Army.
