IRCTC’s ‘Divya Dakshin Yatra With Jyotirlinga’ To Start Journey From Secunderabad On This Date  St
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will depart from Secunderabad on the first day.

The Indian Railway Catering Tourism Corporation announced a package for South India. The tour titled Divya Dakshin Yatra With Jyotirlinga aims to cover famous temples and tourist spots of South India. The 8-night and 9-day tour package will start on June 22. This package will showcase seven important pilgrimage destinations including Tiruvannamalai [Arunachalam], Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Trichy and Thanjavur. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will depart from Secunderabad on the first day, with boarding and deboarding facilities arranged at various stations, including Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta. The tourists will reach Thiruvannamalai on the second day where people can visit the Arunachalam temple. It will leave for Rameswaram on the third day, where the Ramanathaswamy Temple can be visited.

On the fourth day, they will depart from Rameswaram to Madurai and in the evening you can visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple. After that, it will arrive in Kanyakumari on the fifth day, where you can see Kumari Amman Temple, Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam and Sunset Point. On the sixth day, proceed to Trivandrum by road, where you can visit the Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Kovalam Beach. After that, you can leave for Tiruchirappalli.

On the seventh day, one can see Srirangam Temple and Brihadeeswara Temple and then board a train at Thanjavur for the return journey to Secunderabad. The tour ends on the eighth day and ninth day with the tourists getting off the tourist train at their respective stations.

The package includes a comfortable journey in sleeper class, 3AC and 2AC, while the total number of seats available is 716. The cost per person for the economy category is Rs 14250 per adult and Rs 13250 per child, for the standard category, it will cost Rs 21900 per adult and Rs 20700 per child. For the comfort category, one has to pay Rs 28450 and Rs 27010 per child.

IRCTC said that the customers are requested to book their onward/return travel arrangements keeping sufficient time, since the arrival time at the respective station may differ subject to train running status. The seating arrangements will be finalised before departure.
