  2. Leafy VegetablesThe person performing the rituals should avoid the consumption of leafy vegetables during this time as such vegetables should be offered while offering tarpan and other rituals. Therefore, eating them is considered inauspicious.
  3. Onion and GarlicOne should avoid the consumption of garlic and onion. Consuming these vegetables can lead to negative effects on the family.
  4. CucumberCucumber is often offered to the father while performing the rituals and thus consuming it during this period is considered inauspicious. One can consume cucumber after performing tarpan on October 2.
