Taking to Instagram, he shared an image of the first page of the script displayed on a laptop screen. The screen of the project document read, ‘Aadu 3 – One last ride’. In the caption, he wrote, “Been away for a while – to the remote past, to the distant future, surfing through the turbulent present..!! And finally, they are gearing up for one ambitious ‘Last Ride’..!!”

As soon as it was posted online, it went viral and flooded with comments from movie buffs who were eagerly waiting for the third part of the film. “Most Awaited update,” one user wrote, while another said, “Great line.. one last ride.” It is centred around Shaji Paappan, played by Jayasurya and his tug-of-war team members.

It features an ensemble cast that includes actors Vinayakan, Sunny Wayne, Saiju Govinda Kurup, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Vijay Babu and other prominent actors in prominent roles.
