Adhyayan Suman, the son of Sekhar Suman and a popular Bollywood actor, is gearing up for the release of his most anticipated projects. The actor is set to win the audience’s hearts with his portrayal of a Nawab in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Ahead of its release, the actor has shared a heartwarming note on Instagram for the director. He expressed gratitude to Bhansali for believing in him and providing him with the opportunity he prayed for.
The Heartless actor, in his note for the Devdas director, wrote, “Under the guidance of Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir, I am living the dream I always prayed for. With every heartbeat and every tear shed, my portrayal of Zoravar resonates the power of manifestation. I am forever indebted to this journey and forever inspired by the man who believed in me.”
He proceeded to underline his father Shekhar Suman’s impeccable portrayal of Zulfikar in the film and added, “Beside me, my dad, @shekhusuman, as Zulfikar, has added beautiful layers of emotion to this surreal journey. Can’t wait for you all to watch Zoravar and Zulfikar on 1st May only on Netflix.”

In the series Heeramandi, Adhyayan plays Zorawar Ali Khan, a wealthy and arrogant nawab whereas his father Shekhar Suman will be essaying the role of Zulfiqar Ahmed whose demeanour exudes power and sophistication. The series will be available on Netflix from May 1 onwards.
Meanwhile, the Raaz: The Mystery Continues actor previously spoke to News18 Showsha about his experience of working with his father and Bhansali for the first time. He shared, “It has always been my dream to work with my father. And I do share one scene with him in the show. It’s a very interesting scene. I can’t reveal anything beyond this. But yes, it was very exciting to act with my father.”
Adhyayan even admitted that he couldn’t clear the audition for the historical drama and was extremely disappointed. Later, two days after the shoot started, he was brought in to replace the actor who was supposed to play Zorawar.
