Adriana Lima Makes Epic Return To Victoria's Secret Fashion Show With Sparkling Wings

One of Victoria Secret’s most popular faces, Adriana Lima, made a stunning comeback to the runway at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, six years after her 2018 retirement announcement. The 43-year-old supermodel graced the New York City runway on Tuesday, October 15, looking stunning in a crystal-embellished bralette and matching bottomwear, complemented by cutout plaid tights and shimmery wings. Lima completed her look with a sleek high ponytail and striking black eyeliner. She blew kisses towards the audience as she walked through.

Later, she returned to the stage for Cher’s performance, donning vibrant red lingerie and matching coiled red wings. Lima continued singing along to the song Believe as she turned heads with her second look for the evening.

As one of the brand’s most iconic figures, Adriana Lima’s association with Victoria’s Secret began in 2000. However, she left everyone disheartened after announcing her retirement in November 2018. In her farewell Instagram post, she expressed gratitude to the brand and said, “Dear Victoria, Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly,” reports Page Six.

At her last catwalk for the lingerie brand, Adriana Lima reportedly broke into tears as she received a standing ovation from the crowd.

After stepping back from her modelling career, Lima has been focused on family including daughters Valentina and Sienna, and a son, Cyan, 2. It was September this year when she made her long-awaited return to the world, walking at the Schiaparelli Spring 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week. Speaking to E! News about her comeback, the model shared her excitement over being back on the show. “It is so exciting because this is where everything started for me back in 1999. I don’t know. It’s insane and crazy,” she added. Besides Lima, Tyra Banks also took over the stage in the final moments of the show. Nearly 20 years after her last appearance at the event, Banks made an epic comeback on the runway Tuesday night.

Apart from her, the much-awaited show featured a star-studded lineup, including appearances by Gigi Hadid, Lisa, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel.
