Alia Bhatt is gearing up for her next release Jigra which has already created a lot of buzz among the fans. The actress has been praised a lot by many celebrities for her performance. Today, Alia was spotted in the city and looked stunning in a black colour leather dress. Fans were quick enough to react and called her beautiful.

In the video, shared by Filmygyan, we can see Alia wearing a halter-neck leather dress with a sleek bun. Undoubtedly the actress looked stunning in minimal makeup and accessories. She posed for the camera and also waved at them. Fans dropped heart emojis in the comment section. One of the fans wrote, “Beautiful”.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Neetu Kapoor also shared the poster and wrote, “Our Jigra Out To Get Hers’. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also hailed Jigra. Resharing the film’s trailer on his X handle, Varma spoke about being highly impressed. He even described Alia’s performance as ‘Sarkarini,” referring to his celebrated Sarkar films. “Just F****NG WOWWW..Hey @Vasan_Bala am bowled over with ur teaser and @aliaa08 is exuding power like a SARKARini,” he wrote. Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Hansal Mehta, Khushi Kapoor, Amar Kaushik, Abhishek Banerjee and Rhea Kapoor also praised the teaser.

The teaser video opens with Alia Bhatt having a drink in a hotel and talking about her brother. She says that there is very little time and she has to do a lot. As the video proceeds, we see that Vedang Raina is arrested and Alia is trying to release him. She is brave as she faces goons and even fights with them. The video also gives us a glimpse of their old memories.

Last year, Alia Bhatt talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She had revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia added. Reportedly, Alia underwent extensive basketball training for the film. A coach on the sets was assigned who not only taught her the rules of the game but also basic movements like dribble and double dribble. Besides this, Alia also learnt how to pass and how to dunk the ball in the basket. Besides Alia, Jigra will also star ‘The Archies’ star Vedang Raina. He will be playing the role of Alia’s brother in the movie.

It should also be noted that Alia Bhatt is not just playing the lead in Jigra but is also producing it.
