Alia Bhatt confessed she wants more children in the future. The actress, who is married to Ranbir Kapoor, welcomed her first child — daughter Raha — in November 2022. In a recent press interaction, Alia was asked how she envisions her future. The actress confessed that her future might hold more babies, more travel and more movies as producer.
Speaking in the IMDb’s Icons Only segment, Alia opened up about her desires. “Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life.”
The actress also spoke about Raha, revealing that she hopes to show her debut film, Student of the Year to the little one some day. “I think for me, maybe Student of the Year because honestly, it’s the youngest, most chill film that kids could watch. And that is my first film. Although I am not really proud of my performance in that film, but it’s full of songs, and I think she would really enjoy that.” As for Ranbir, she thought Barfi would be a good watch. “I think that’s a very child-friendly film,” she said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia’s new film Jigra has released in cinemas today. The film, which has she co-produced with Karan Johar, sees her play the role of a protective older sister. She is seen playing Vedang’s sister in the Vasan Bala directorial. The trailer have revealed that Vedang’s character gets locked up in an international jail. Alia’s character takes it upon herself to rescue her brother.
News18 Showsha has given the film a 4-star rating and praised Alia for her performance. Alia has also gone all out to promote the film. She was recently seen in Hyderabad, promoting the film’s Telugu version with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rana Daggubati.
