Actor and politician Suresh Gopi’s youngest son Madhav Suresh has launched the audio of his first film Kummatikali. The film’s audio was launched by Suresh Gopi and producer RB Chaudhary in Chennai. Kummatikali is also Yuvan Shankar Raja’s first Malayalam film.

Kummatikali is a film produced by RB Chaudhary under the banner of Super Good Films and directed by RK Vincent Selva. Director RK Vincent Selva, project designers Sajith Krishna, Amrita Ashok, actors Rashik Ajmal, Mithun and others attended the ceremony at director Priyadarshan’s studio in Chennai. Madhav has aced the role without any rookie difficulties. The film has actors from Tamil and Kannada films.

In March, Dulquer Salmaan shared a first look at Kummatikali. The film stars superstar Suresh Gopi’s son Madhav Suresh in the lead role. Lena has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Going by the trailer, Kummattikali tells the story of a group of boys known as Kummatti Boys. Lena seems to be playing the role of a mother-like figure to the four boys.

The film has an ensemble cast of Madhav Suresh, Mithun Prakash, Rashik Ajmal, Dhananjay, Lena, Mime Gopi, Dinesh, Yami Sona, Devika Satheesh, Azeez Nedumangad, Major Ravi, Sarish and Sanjeev Jeevan.

The dialogues are written by Ramesh Ammanath. Editing is done by Don Max. The original music is by Jackson Vijayan and Sumesh Parameshwaran. The art design is by Riyad V Ismail. The stunts for the film are choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu and Mafia Sasi. Costumes are designed by Arun Manohar and make-up is done by Pradeep Rangan.

The video also shows a glimpse of the Kummattikali, also known as the mask dance, a traditional dance form in Kerala. The mask dance is performed during the Malayalam months of Makaram and Kumbham at the beginning of the year.

Last year, Madhav celebrated his birthday on the sets with Suresh Gopi and the Kummatikali crew. After the pictures were posted on social media, the child star’s on-screen appearance was highly anticipated. While some praised Madhav for his action-packed debut in Malayalam cinema, others pointed out that the trailer offers nothing new and almost gives away the plot. Some others have also drawn comparisons between the film’s plot and that of a TV serial.
