Joining this iconic lineup, singer and songwriter Camila Cabello recently revealed her platinum blonde hair in a video shared on Thursday. Alongside the captivating transformation, the 26-year-old Havana singer hinted at new music, suggesting that an upcoming album might be on the horizon. The post garnered overwhelming support from Camila’s fans, amassing over four lakh likes within 15 hours.
Singer Dinah Jane commented on her video, “Wowwww blondes have more fun.” Entrepreneur David Grutman Finally also wrote, “Let the blonde out of the bag.”

For most of her career, Camila Cabello has rocked her natural dark-coloured hair, which is why her decision to go blonde has surprised many. Camila’s new look was given by celebrity hairstylist Nikki Lee.
As per Page Six Style, Nikki Lee said in a press release, “Camila wanted a big moment for 2024 and what bigger moment than her going platinum blonde! A colour she has never been before! Our promise to each other was we could do it, but only if we kept her hair as healthy as possible. We got her to this colour with three appointments. When going from almost black hair to platinum blonde hair it’s important to be patient and understand that it’s a process.”
However, even though being blonde is a fashion-forward choice, this hair colour comes with a ton of responsibility. Often people have to bleach their hair to get the right blonde shade which sometimes damages the hair in the long run. Additionally, blonde hair fades quickly which makes its upkeep costly.
Alex Brownsell, the founder of hair colour brand Bleach London, spoke to Vogue about maintaining blonde hair and said, “I always say to my clients, ‘It’s like coming to me with a pair of jeans and me giving you a pair of dry-clean-only silk trousers to go home with, but you can maintain the condition of those trousers just as well as the jeans if you look after them properly.”
Camila is expected to release her album, CC4, in early 2024. This will be her fourth album and her first record under Interscope Records. She released her last album Familia in 2022.
