Comedian Park Soo Hong and his wife Kim Da Ye are on cloud nine, having welcomed their first child after three years of marriage. Kim Da Ye gave birth to the child on October 10, as announced through a trailer for KBS2’s Superman is Back. A teaser of the broadcast showed Park Soo Hong anxiously waiting for his wife’s delivery as he told the production team, “The due date is October 10, so if I get a call during the shoot, I would need to go to the hospital," as quoted by Soompi.

He could be then seen rushing to the hospital on receiving a call. Later in the video, viewers could hear the sound of a baby crying from the operation room. In March this year, the couple shared the news of Kim Da Ye’s pregnancy. In a community post on their YouTube channel, Kim Da Ye revealed that she conceived through IVF after three years of marriage. “We’re truly thankful for your support and prayers while watching our IVF process. I wanted to share the good news with our subscribers first! After three years of our marriage, we’ve finally become mom and dad," she wrote.
Further expressing affection toward her husband, she hoped he would no longer spend his days in pain and suffering because of his painful past and would instead live the rest of his life happily. “He will have a child who will be grateful to him just for being a father, myself who will silently remain by his side no matter what difficulties there will be, his friends who stayed by his side even in misfortune, as well as many subscribers who cheer us on."
Park Soo Hong and Kim Da Ye registered their marriage in July 2021 and later held a wedding ceremony in December 2022.
