Veteran actor Dharmendra stepped out to cast his vote in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. However, after casting his vote, he was surrounded by the media who wanted to ask him questions. Dharmendra barely had any personal space, as per a pap video. The actor also got angry and said that everything they wanted him to say, they already knew.
Dharmendra said, “Acche shehri bano, desh bhakt bano, maa baap se pyaar karo… aap ko malum hai jo mujhse kehelwana chahte hai (Be a good citizen, love your parents, you already know this… still trying to put words in my mouth).” Watch his interaction with the media here:

The veteran actor cast his vote at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Post voting, he was escorted out by his staff members. Meanwhile, his daughter Esha Deol was spotted at the booth, accompanied by her mother, Hema Malini.
The fifth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 has begun today, May 20. Eight states and Union Territories going for polls in this phase are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. Several Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Tabu and Swanand Kirkire were seen at their designated polling booths early in the morning. Other celebs like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Janhvi Kapoor and Rajummar Rao have also cast their vote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dharmendra was last seen in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He played Shahid Kapoor’s grandfather in the film. He will soon be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, which will star Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda in the lead.
