Director Indrajit Lankesh’s Son Samarjit Showcases His Dance Skills In Viral Video

Renowned filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh’s son, Samarjit Lankesh, is all set to begin his acting journey with the film Gowri. Samarjit is talented and active on social media. On the occasion of Chaitra Navratri yesterday, the aspiring actor dropped a dance video to wish all his fans, which is currently going viral. In the video, Samarjit is seen dancing in a studio. He dressed up in a white kurta, which he teamed with a black pants. He completed his look with a red headband. He is seen dancing with full energy to the song Sri Rama Jai Rama from the action comedy movie Kempe Gowda. This is a 2011 film starring Sudeepa and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles.

Sharing the dance video on Instagram, Samarjit wrote, “Srirama Ramethi Rame Ram, Ram, Manorame, Sahasranama, Tattulyam, Ramanama Varanane. Happy Rama Navami to you and your family” in the caption.

According to the latest report, apart from debuting as an actor, Samarjit is going to showcase his singing talent in his first film. Gowri is directed by his father. Samarjit is said to impress the audience with his vocals on the unplugged version of the Kannada language superhit song Hudugi Hudugi from his father’s 2006 release, Aishwarya. The upcoming movie will star Saanya Iyer, a popular name in television, as the female lead. The cast also includes Miss Teen Universe Sweezal Furtado and Chandan Gowda. The cinematography is handled by AJ Shetty, while Ravi Verma will serve as the stunt choreographer, and Kaviraj has penned the lyrics. The film is said to be inspired by real-life events.
