This week's big release Dishoom starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, might have opened with mixed reviews from critics, but the audience has give it a thumbs up.
The buddy-cop thriller has become the sixth highest opening grosser of 2016 by earning Rs. 11.05 crores on first day of its release. With the likes of Sultan, Fan, Housefull 3 and Baaghi, the film is expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark in a week.

Film analyst Taran Adarsh twweted the film's first day collection in India and UAE markets where it has earned Rs 3.63 crore till now.

With big stars on board and being amasal entertainer, Dishoom is a hit this weekend.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshay Khanna, Saqib Saleem along with Akshay Kumar in a cameo.
