Actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan has emerged as a significant figure in the Tamil film industry, notably for directing successful films like Comali and Love Today, where he made his acting debut. Recent reports suggest that the filmmaker is poised to receive substantial remuneration for his upcoming project.

Following the success of his acting debut in Love Today, Pradeep Ranganathan has become one of the most sought-after talents in Tamil cinema. Reports indicate that he has substantially increased his salary post the film’s success, now reportedly worth crores.

In a recent development, Pradeep has been approached to direct a Telugu project by one of the biggest production houses in the country, Mythri Movie Makers. It’s reported that he has negotiated a salary of Rs 10 crore for this project, and the production house has agreed to meet his terms. Negotiations for this untitled Telugu film have concluded, with an official announcement from the makers expected imminently.

Meanwhile, Pradeep Ranganathan’s next acting venture is titled LIC (Love Insurance Corporation), helmed by Vignesh Shivan. Initially, the film was set to be produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, but due to budgetary constraints, they withdrew from the project. It is now being produced by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, with S S Lalit Kumar and Vignesh Shivan serving as producers. The cast features Pradeep Ranganathan, S J Suryah, and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, Sha Ra, and others. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography, and Pradeep E Ragav serves as the editor.

As a director, Pradeep has previously worked on films like Comali and Love Today, where he also made his acting debut opposite actress Ivana. Love Today was released on November 4, 2022, marking a significant milestone in his career.
