Social media influencer Gaurav Taneja, best known as Flying Beast is rumoured to be headed for a divorce. The renowned content creator, who is known to make videos with his family, sparked divorce rumours last week. Soon, speculations did the rounds that he cheated on his wife, Ritu Rathee. However, Ritu has decided to finally address the divorce and cheating rumours. She shared a long video on Instagram with the caption, “Divorce Reality Check.”
In the video, she opened up about the rumours and said that she doesn’t want the society to interfere. She added she doesn’t want any sort of support from social media users and added that she is self-sufficient. She confirmed that there have been issues in her marriage with Gaurav. However, she did not confirm or deny claims of divorce.
“Whatever it is, it is my personal issue. If I had to place it publicly, my dear Ritu’s army, I have Instagram to announce. We had an altercation, but does that mean you will tell me what kind of man he is,” Rathee said.
“There are very few people who deserve respect. I know that man inside and out. I don’t need to know whether he was genuine or loyal from you. I have seen that man fighting in every situation. This is a problem of our society, and we have to interfere in others’ problems. I don’t need society’s support. Definitely, I don’t need social media support,” she added.
She added that every relationship goes through its highs and lows. “The same thing happened to me. A husband and wife have to deal with several things together. Sometimes, there are things that might hurt you. And this time, it hurt me and him as well. He thought he was right; I felt I was. We both became stubborn,” she said.
In another portion of the video, she said, “The problem lies with society. We all live in houses of mirrors, but we want to eavesdrop on others’ homes and gossip about them. I handled this society when I became a pilot, so this issue is far less compared to that. I don’t need society’s support in any way. I am not a weak woman, and nothing wrong has happened to me. I have full faith in God. It’s not about a man or a woman; we are all the same. We all share the same traits. Just because two people have separated, it doesn’t mean either one of them has to be right. We were both right at some point and wrong as well.”
Her statement came a day after Taneja shared a cryptic post. He said he would love those who love him. The social media content creator added he will not comment on the rumours. Rathee and Taneja got married in 2016 and have two kids. Taneja was a commercial pilot who quit his job and now focuses on his content creator career. He runs Flying Beast, Fit Muscle TV, and Rasbhari ke Papa.
