Making his Telugu-language movie debut, Tarun in South superstar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, Khaidi No 150, directed by V.V Vinayak.

Nevertheless, his wife, Anajala Zaveri, had a huge range of popularity among her fans. Though the 1997 film failed at the box office and became a flop, it did give Anjala a platform to showcase her talent.

In 1998, she became a household name after featuring in the song Teri Jawani Badi Mast Mast Hai. Nevertheless, the actress was also featured in the movie, Betaabi opposite Chandrachur Singh, but after her Hindi film career failed to take off, she decided to star in Tamil and Telugu films. She was introduced to Tollywood by Suresh Productions in the movie Preminchukudam Raa opposite Venkatesh and has shared the screen with him again in Devi Putrudu.
