In Pics: Former South Actress Suvarna Mathew Enjoys Family Time In Philadelphia

Suvarna Mathew is a well-known face of the South Indian movies. She was one of the popular lead actresses during the 1990s and mostly worked in Malayalam and Kannada films. Although she has also appeared in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies as well. During her period, the actress has worked with many popular actors, including Vishnuvardhan in Kiladigalu, Jayaram in Sudhinam and Suman in Nayudugari Kutumbam, to name a few. She was also teamed with Mithun Chakraborty in the films Do Numbri, Meri Adalat, Sultaan and Sanyasi Mera Naam. However, the former actress is now away from the entertainment world. But she is quite active on social media and her Instagram handle is the proof.

Recently, the 90’s actress dropped a photo of herself from her recent outing, which is garnering everyone’s attention. In the latest photo, Suvarna is seen posing near a sea. She is wearing a blue and white sleeveless tie-dye mini dress. She opted for no makeup and tied her hair in a high-rise bun. She completed her look with a pair of sunglasses, a blue bracelet and a pair of black slippers. Sharing the photo, the actress wrote, “Simple yet elegant!” in the caption.

Seeing the post, one of her fans commented, “Nice.”. Another one added “beauty.”. Many dropped red hearts and fire emoticons in the comment box.

Suvarna is a travel enthusiast and it is quite evident from her Instagram handle. A few days back, the actress shared another photo from his outing with her children. In the picture, the actress is seen along with her children in a sea wearing live jackets. All three are seen holding a dolphin as they pose for the camera.

Suvarna was born to Mathew and Elsamma, as the youngest among four children, in Pala, Kerala. She has two brothers, Saji and Sibi and a sister, Swapna. She won the Miss Kerala title in 1992, which paved her way to the film industry. She rose to fame after the Malayalam movie Valayam. She married Varghese Jacob in 2003 and they have a son, Jacob and a daughter, Jia. She is settled in Philadelphia, United States, with her family.
