The Pakistani box office is getting ready to witness the clash of the titans. Their own superstar Fawad Khan will be pitted against the Indian superstar Salman Khan on Eid, 2019.
While Salman’s Bharat has been cleared to release in Pakistan during Eid, Fawad’s film The Legend of Maula Jatt is also expected to hit the screens around the same time. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Wednesday speculating about the big clash.

Fawad is one of the most prominent faces in the Pakistan film fraternity. Thanks to his popular TV shows, he enjoys a good fan following in India as well. His Bollywood ventures like Khoobsurat, Kapoor And Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have also earned him a sizeable viewership base across borders. Said to be one of the most ambitious Pakistani films till date, The Legend of Maula Jatt will see Mahira Khan opposite Fawad.
Directed by Bilal Lashari, Maula Jatt will also be released in China.
On the other hand, Salman will be collaborating with Ali Abbaz Zafar of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai for Bharat. The film also feature Katrina Kaif in a prominent role. She replaced Priyanka Chopra in the film who left the project at the last minute.
