Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor fail to impress social media users with their new Devara song.

Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor released their new song from Devara, titled Chuttamalle, and it has not gone down well with social media users. In the music video, Tarak was seen romancing Janhvi, who is 14 years younger than him. Intended to be a sensual love song, several social media users pointed out that it was awkward to watch the RRR star and the Ulajh actress in this form. A few even added the age difference between the two is very evident.

“This pair looks so odd. Age gap is jarring(Let’s see if it’s justified in movie). Jr.NTR looks so awkward and out of place," a Reddit user wrote while sharing the music video on the platform. “Please don’t do this to Jr NTR," added another. “After “Natu natu" this feels like “Dont-do Dont-do" so ewwwwwwwww," a third comment read.

“He is probably just vvv uncomfortable, because he knows the age gap is huge and that should ideally make anyone uncomfortable," a fourth social media user said. “When will Indian movies grow out of this hip thrusting, waist close ups, fake grinding etc…. It’s so cringe. When will we make good, sensible movies ," a user asked.

Chuttamalle is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This is the film’s second song. The film’s first single, titled Fear Song, had already set the stage for high expectations. Producer Naga Vamsi had boldly claimed that it would surpass the popularity of Hukum, a hit track from the film Jailer, also composed by Anirudh.

Meanwhile, the action thriller film is getting ready to release on September 27. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, the film stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain. This marks Janhvi and Saif’s first Telugu film. The film is produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The film is divided into two parts.
