Kajol and Rani Mukerji treated fans with a mini Kuch Kuch Hota Hai reunion during the Durga Puja celebrations at a pandal in Mumbai today. The actresses and co-stars of the iconic 1998 film, were spotted together. A video capturing the moment has gone viral on social media.
In the video, shared by Filmygyan, we can see Rani Mukerji in red and black colour saree while Kajol in an orange saree. Both even hugged and greeted each other. Fans in the comment section dropped heart emojis. Some even mentioned Anjali’s name. Rani Mukerji was also seen removing footwear and then greeting everyone in the pandal.

This year Kajol and Rani will be hosting the Durga Puja pandal near SNDT Women’s University in Juhu. Popularly known as North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal, the actresses host grand celebrations to welcome Maa Durga. Last year, during the festivities, the Dilwale actress was snapped seeking the blessing of the Goddess at the Durga Puja pandal along with her son Yug. She was seen clad in a pink saree, while her son wore a white kurta pyjama. Apart from her, several celebs including Rani Mukerji, Jaya Bachchan, Sumona Chakravarti, Ishita Dutta, Vatsal Seth, Tanisha Mukerji and Sharvari also visited the Durga Puja pandal.
On the work front, Kajol will be next seen in the thriller film Do Patti. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, the thriller film co-starring Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh is set to stream on the OTT giant Netflix on October 25. Produced by Kanika Dhillon’s Kathha Pictures alongside Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films, the drama-thriller is directed by debutante Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon. The star-studded feature will bring acting powerhouses Kajol and Kriti Sanon together in a twisted tale about twin sisters, harbouring deep secrets, and a determined police inspector seeking to uncover the truth in an attempted murder case.
Set against the misty hills of the fictional town of Devipur, Uttarakhand, the case unfolds, muddled with half-truths and half-lies, where love, betrayal, and revenge create a melee of intrigue, deception, and drama. Meanwhile, Rani won the IIFA Award for her performance in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. She is yet to announce her next film.
