Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for the next release The Buckingham Murders. The makers have been releasing new posters to increase their excitement level. Today, the actress along with hubby Saif Ali Khan and kids Taimur and Jeh were seen a day off at Randhir Kapoor’s residence. Well, taking to her social media handle, Kareena gave a glimpse of her mother’s duty.

The film’s recently released teaser opened to widespread acclaim and has raised the excitement level even higher. And now, the makers have unveiled a new poster featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan in a striking new look. The poster features Kareena Kapoor Khan in black attire, wearing a formal coat, pants, and blazer. She perfectly embodies her cop persona while walking down a corridor that serves as a fitting backdrop, exuding profound intensity in her fresh and captivating look. Her collaboration with Hansal Mehta is shaping up to be something special. The film also marks yet another collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan after blockbusters like Veere Di Wedding and Crew. Notably, this film marks Kareena Kapoor Khan’s debut as a producer.
Previously, Kareena talked about her role in the movie when she said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.” The actress further admitted that playing the cop was difficult since the character’s grief made her uncomfortable. However, she also called it a “career-defining role for me and one of my best characters.”
Besides Kareena Kapoor Khan, The Buckingham Murders also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
The Buckingham Murders garnered acclaim from the crowd at its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023. It was also screened at the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in October.
The film is all set for its release on September 13, 2024.
