After enthralling the audience with her captivating performance in The Buckingham Murders, Kareena Kapoor is now gearing up for the release of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again where she plays a pivotal role. At the trailer launch of the film, the actor opened up about working with Ajay Devgn and Shetty. She also spoke about representing Sita in the action film.
At the trailer launch of Singham Again at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, Kareena Kapoor spoke to the media about her role in the film. She joked about how a Rohit Shetty film is incomplete without her. She said, “Ramayana me Sita naa ho aisa ho nahi sakta aur Rohit Shetty ki film me Kareena Kapoor nahi ho aisa ho nahi sakta.”
In the same conversation, she talked about her role and also spoke about how she felt being a part of Shetty’s cop universe. She continued, “Thank you to Rohit and Ajay for always always wanting me and for always giving me a special role in this male-centric cop-verse. And in this film to represent Sita Maa, I’m very very honoured and overwhelmed. And Rohit and Ajay have always been my favourite.”

For the launch of the trailer, Kapoor wore a silver fusion saree by Manish Malhotra. Her look stole the limelight as it was adorned with real silver zardozi work on the border. She paired the saree with a matching corset blouse.
The trailer of Singham Again shows Devgn pulling out all the stops after his wife gets kidnapped. With a runtime of almost five minutes, the trailer is the longest in the history of Hindi cinema. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar in key roles. The film will be released in cinemas on November 1.
