The latest heist film Crew starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon has been ruling the box office. The female-led movie has received fantastic reviews from both reviewers and audiences, and it is surely a reason for the cast and crew to celebrate. Crew released last month and after a successful run for about 3 weeks, managed to make a collection of about Rs 145 crore. One of the leads, Kareena Kapoor, marked the milestone with a special post on social media.

Kareena Kapoor shared a poster of the film featuring Tabu and Kriti Sanon and herself with the latest worldwide collection figure stated in bold. “Flying high with your love ! 145 56 cr total worldwide gross,” read the poster. The actress shared it with several heart and star emojis. The film performed well in the first weekend and earned Rs 10.28 crore on its opening day in India.

For the first time, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon shared the screen. They play air hostesses in the movie which consists of in-flight supervisor Geeta Sethi, senior flight attendant Jasmine Rana and junior flight attendant Divya Bajwa, who work for Kohinoor Airlines. The film is set against the backdrop of a failing airline industry and the lives of three flight attendants. However, their destiny places them in difficult positions, and they become trapped in a web of lies and deceit. Aside from the trio, the film also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in crucial roles. Rajesh Krishnan directed the film, which was produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network.

Kareena is currently gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated film, Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff in prominent roles. In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Kareena spoke about working with an ensemble cast and said: “I’m sure that’s part of the surprise of the film that you guys have to watch! But yes, it’s a stellar cast. And I think there’s no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together in one frame. Yes, and it’s definitely going to happen.”

Last year, Kareena starred in her first OTT film, Jaane Jaan. Sujoy Ghosh directed the thriller drama, which also features Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles. Moving on, Kareena will also appear in Hansal Mehta’s Netflix film, The Buckingham Murders.
