Kim Woo Seok’s Military Training Set To Begin On November 4

Following the exciting announcement of Kim Woo Seok’s role alongside Kang Na Eon in the upcoming teen romance drama 0th Period Is Inssa Time, his agency, Blitzway Studio, has shared news about his military enlistment. According to reports from Sports Chosun, the actor applied to join the Army Band and received confirmation from the Military Manpower Administration on September 25. Blitzway Studio announced via Instagram that Kim Woo Seok’s military training will commence on November 4. As part of the enlistment protocol, the agency noted that, for safety reasons, no events will be held on the day he enters the recruit training center.

The agency wrote, “Hello, this is Blitzway Studios. Actor Kim Woo Seok will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army Band on November 4. For safety reasons, there will be no official event on the day he enters the recruit training center. We kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the site. With everyone’s support, he will complete his service in good health and greet everyone as a more matured individual.”

While Blitzway Studio has announced that no official send-off event will be held for Kim Woo Seok, reports from Sports Chosun indicate that the actor will have an opportunity to meet with his fans on October 26, just days before his military enlistment.

Kim Woo Seok initially gained recognition for being part of the K-pop group UP10TION. However, he took a bold step by making his acting debut in 2020 with the drama, TWENTY TWENTY. Since then, he has appeared in several popular k dramas, including Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, Finland Papa and Night Has Come. Earlier this year, Kim Woo Seok also completed a successful Asia tour, The Siren, where he performed in major cities such as Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Taipei and Bangkok.

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Seok will be appearing in 0th Period Is Inssa Time, scheduled to premiere later this year. In the upcoming teen drama, Kim Woo Seok will play Kang Woo Bin, a popular student. Despite his charm and social status, he has a secret that could risk his image. Opposite him, Kang Na Eon steps into the shoes of Ji Eun, a high school girl who feels like an outsider yet wishes to spend time among her popular classmates.
