Director M.A. Nishad’s long-awaited movie Iyer in Arabia has revealed its highly anticipated release date of February 2. The announcement, coupled with the reunion of the beloved on-screen duo Mukesh and Urvashi, has ignited excitement among eagerly waiting audiences.
A lively new poster, unveiled by the creators, highlights the ensemble cast of Dhyan Sreenivasan, Mukesh, Urvashi, and Durga Krishna. Dhyan Sreenivasan’s depiction in traditional Arab Sheikh attire suggests a captivating and well-rounded entertainment experience, promising an engaging storyline.
The recent poster reveal follows an earlier one that introduced Dhyan Sreenivasan’s character, exuding a playful ‘Yo-Yo’ vibe with sunglasses, setting the stage for a spirited and lively protagonist.
Originally named Iyer Kanda Dubai, the film underwent a title change to Iyer in Arabia. Scripted and directed by Nishad M. A., the movie promises a compelling narrative brought to life by a talented ensemble. Key talents include John Kutty as the editor, Siddharth Ramaswamy as the cinematographer, M. V. Pradeep overseeing art direction, and Anand Madhusoodhanan as the music composer.
The ensemble cast further boasts esteemed actors, including Jaffar Idukki, Alancier, Maniyan Pilla Raju, Kailash, Sudheer Karamana, Sohan Seenulal, Ullas Pandalam, Jayakrishnan, and Shinoj Siddique.
The creators have released the song ‘Iyyeru Kanda Dubai,’ a lively track featuring Mukesh, Urvashi, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Biju Sopanam, among others. The song captures Mukesh’s character exploring Dubai and assures audiences a delightful blend of comedy and entertainment.
Anand Madhusoodanan composed the song, with lyrics crafted by the talented Manu Manjith. The vocals are delivered by Mithun Jayaraj, Minnale Nazeer, Aswin Vijayan, Bharath Sajikumar, and Anand Madhusoodanan. Dhyan Sreenivasan introduced the song on his social media, stating, “Presenting you Ayyaru Kanda Dubai video song from Iyer In Arabia.”
The film’s title was revealed on January 16 during a ceremony attended by prominent figures in the industry, including Shri V N Vasavan, Minister for Cooperation and Registration. Nishad’s upcoming movie, “Iyer In Arabia,” is anticipated as a comic entertainer. His previous directorial work, “Thelivu,” received decent reviews. The storyline revolves around Gouri, an orphan who marries truck driver Khalid, and experiencing a positive change in her life. However, events take a dark turn when Gouri is compelled to take a drastic step to protect an inmate from the orphanage owner. The film explores the consequences for Gouri and Khalid, forming its central theme.
