Malaika Arora is known for her friendly demeanor with paparazzi, whether during public events or casual outings. Recently, she was spotted in Bandra amidst ongoing reports of her rumored breakup with Arjun Kapoor. In the video, Malaika is seen smiling as photographers request pictures of her.
Despite her warm interaction, she did not linger for photos or selfies, appearing to be in a hurry. In the nine-second clip, paparazzi can be heard calling out, “Malaika Ji, wait,” “Malaika Ma’am, wait,” and “Ma’am, wait.”
To recap, a recent report from Pinkvilla suggested that Arjun and Malaika have mutually decided to part ways, according to an inside source, and that the couple wishes to maintain a dignified silence.
“Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” a source told Pinkvilla.
“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time,” the insider added.
Following the breakup reports, Malaika posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram stories, saying, “Good Morning… The greatest treasure on earth are the people who love and support us. They cannot be bought or replaced and each of us has only a few of them.” However, neither Arjun nor Malaika have officially commented on their alleged breakup.
Malaika made her debut with the music video ‘Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha.’ She then worked as a host for MTV’s show ‘Club MTV.’ Her first Bollywood appearance was in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se,’ where she featured in the iconic song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The duo received praise for their dance moves, choreographed by Farah Khan.
Arjun Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with YRF’s ‘Ishaqzaade’ opposite Parineeti Chopra, a romantic drama written and directed by Habib Faisal. He was last seen in Ajay Bahl’s mystery-thriller ‘The Lady Killer’ alongside Bhumi Pednekar. Arjun’s next appearance will be in Rohit Shetty’s action-thriller ‘Singham Again.’
