MONSTA X’s Minhyuk is finally back! Having completed his mandatory military services, the K-pop singer was discharged from the 5th Infantry Division on October 3. To celebrate this significant moment, his fellow members Shownu, Kihyun, Jooheon and I.M. gathered to welcome him. Fans who gathered in numbers to celebrate Minhyuk’s much-awaited military discharge were even more thrilled to see the members together.
In a video making the rounds online, his bandmates are spotted arriving at the ceremony to give him a warm greeting with flowers and hugs. The band’s official social media handle also dropped a bunch of pictures, showing their epic reunion.

With this, Minhyuk has now become the second member of the group to be discharged after the completion of his military service. Before him, member Shownu was discharged in April this year.
Following his return, Minhyuk will reportedly hold a free fan meeting called Let’s Go! on October 6, featuring two sessions at 1 PM KST and 5 PM KST at Yes24 Live Hall. The event will offer fans a chance to connect with him again. The event is free for all verified 8th-generation MONBEBEs (MONSTA X fans), with each member allowed to reserve only one ticket.
The popular K-pop group, MONSTA X made its debut in May 2015 with their first extended play, Trespass. Formed through the survival show No Mercy, the current lineup includes Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M. Wonho, a former member who parted ways with the group in 2019.
Known for their impressive performances and a versatile musical style that blends hip-hop, pop and EDM, MONSTA X has garnered international recognition with tracks like Shoot Out, Love Killa and Beautiful.
