Without naming any names, the makers of Thalavan revealed that “the film we rejected is now in theatres.” However, the team did not want to reveal the exact reasons behind not doing the film.

Instead, Biju Menon and Asif Ali have chosen a film that is diametrically opposite to Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. The duo has acted together in Thalavan, a cop drama. Judging by the trailer, the story revolves around the camaraderie between two colleagues from the Kerala police force.
