Rakhi Sawant's Lawyer Confirms Actress Getting Death Threats: 'She Will Lodge a Complaint'

Rakhi Sawant’s lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt has confirmed that the actress has been getting death threats. In her recent interaction, Falguni revealed that Rakhi has received threatening calls and will file a police complaint soon. She shared that since the Bigg Boss fame is currently hospitalised, she will complain to the police, the moment she gets discharged.

“I have been informed by my client Rakhi Sawant that she is posing threats to her life and since the past few days she has been receiving threatening calls and is being threatened with dire consequences,” Rakhi’s lawyer told E-Times TV.

“She has been advised to lodge a police complaint, but due to her ill health and being hospitalized she is unable to do the same, but once she is discharged she will lodge a complaint,” she added.

On Tuesday, Rakhi Sawant’s former husband Ritesh Raj Singh also claimed that some people are troubling her and are giving her death threats. He claimed that he knew who these troublemakers were but refused to share their names saying he won’t do it unless he gets all the evidence.

“I will reveal everything, let me get all the evidence first. I am not afraid of anyone. I will name people but let me get the evidence first. I just want to tell you that some people who pretended to be our wellwishers are also involved in this controversy. I will tell you who this person it. We are informing the police about it. We do not want media trial. This is related to Rakhi’s security. People are troubling her. She is also getting death threats,” Ritesh said.

Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant’s death threats come at a time when she is hospitalised. The actress recently underwent surgery after doctors discovered a tumour in her uterus. Previously, Ritesh also shared that Rakhi’s surgery was successful.

“Some people were laughing a lot. I think such people are inhuman who make a mockery of somebody’s pain. (shows a photo of a tumour) See how big this rumour is. Rakhi, you don’t worry, we’ll take care of you. Some people are still making baseless statements and trying to defame you. Let me tell them, your time is over,” he said.
