Samantha Ruth Prabhu Reveals Why Fashion Is ‘Fun Again’ In New Post

Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed fashion is once again “fun” for her. She recently teamed up with her “best friend” and designer Kresha Bajaj to showcase her impeccable taste. On Tuesday, she attended Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Jigra’s pre-release event in Hyderabad. Apart from Samantha, many celebrities like Rana Daggubati, Trivikram Srinivas and Vedang Raina arrived to attend the Vasan Bala-directed film event.

On Wednesday, Samantha delighted her fans by giving a closer look at her chic outfit from yesterday’s event. She looked stunning in a muted mauve ensemble featuring an off-shoulder, full-sleeved crop top paired with a high-waisted side-slit skirt adorned with fringe details and a gathered knot in the front. The outfit perfectly highlighted her collarbone and toned midriff. Samantha shared the series of pictures with the caption, “Fashion is fun again because I get to play dress up with my best friend.”

Her look got a nod from her fans, who took to the comment section to praise her. A while back, Samantha also updated a post featuring the Telugu trailer of Alia Bhatt’s film Jigra. On the next slide of her carousel, she posed for a group picture with Alia, Vedang Raina, Vasan Bala and Rana Daggubati, among others. Sharing the post, Samantha heaped praise on the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress and wrote, “There is only one @aliaabhatt, The greatest actress of this generation. If there is a film of hers in theatres, I am not going to miss it and neither should you.”

Meanwhile, at the pre-release event yesterday, Alia showered praises on Samantha.“My dearest Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, for your resilience, for your strength. It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet, and you have your talent and your strong kicks to be an example for everyone,” said the Jigra actress.

While Alia’s upcoming action-packed film Jigra is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 11, Samantha is gearing up for the release of Citadel: Honey Bunny in November.
