After creating a stir by supporting the cancellation of Ghulam Ali concert, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is now in trouble for allegedly molesting a woman. An FIR has been lodged against the singer after a 35 year old woman accused him of allegedly molesting her during the Durga Puja festival.
According to the complainant, the incident happened at the Lokhandwala Durga Puja Pandal, of which the singer is an organiser. The complainant has alleged that she got into an altercation with the singer at the pandal, however the reason that led to the altercation is yet to be revealed.
The complainant's statement has been recorded, reaction from the singer is awaited. Abhijeet has been booked for sexual harassment and intentional insult and police might go and record his statement soon.
