Sonu Sood Honoured With 'Champions of Change' Award For Humanitarian Contributions

Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has received the prestigious ‘Champions of Change’ award in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian efforts. Renowned for his selfless endeavors, Sood has garnered widespread acclaim for his unwavering commitment to societal welfare, which has earned him numerous accolades.

Through his charitable organization, ‘The Sood Foundation’, the actor has helped the underprivileged in terms of education, helped the poor promote their enterprises, and he has also begun work on his dream project, an old age residence. His dedication to uplifting communities in times of crisis has been praised globally and has emphasized the impact of individual self-sacrifice on a broader scale.

On the work front, Sonu Sood has just completed his maiden film as a director. ‘Fateh’ is a cybercrime thriller starring Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead, produced by Sood’s production company, Shakti Sagar Productions, and co-produced by Zee Studios.

Expressing his excitement for this upcoming film, Sonu had earlier shared on his social media handle, “Fateh has been special and a personal film to me. It is a tribute to the youth who have been victims of cybercrime on various levels.”

Last year, in October, Sonu Sood completed the Delhi schedule for his film, Fateh. Fans and audience members alike reacted positively to the announcement. The lead actress in Fateh, Jacqueline Fernandez, had shared BTS photographs from the Delhi shoot with her fans on social media, along with the accompanying caption, “Delhi schedule wrap for Fateh. Apart from Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leads, Fateh also stars Vijay Raaz and Shivjyoti Rajput in important roles. According to reports, the cast of the film includes some of Hollywood’s top names, such as the director of photography, research team, and action choreographers. Fateh is billed as a dramatic and action-packed drama, and its compelling premise has sparked tremendous interest. The plot of the film revolves around the titular character, a former gangster hired to protect a young woman. To keep her safe, he must use all of his powers while also striving to understand the truth about the nature and origins of the threats she faces.
