International actor Noah Schnapp reportedly landed in trouble after he went out drinking with a few close people. The actor, best known for his performance in Stranger Things, was allegedly in a New York club and was ‘aggressively wasted’ after having too many drinks. Noah, who is 19, also forced fellow club goers to drink with him but they refused because he was underaged.
An eyewitness told Page Six that Noah was allegedly bugging fellow guests at the club to take ‘tequila shots with him and his entourage.’ When they refused to indulge due to his age, Noah allegedly got “angry”. The “aggressively wasted” actor was booted out of the club by the security at 1:30 a.m. ET. The source added that the actor was “clearly unable to stand.”
Noah is yet to react to the report.
The actor has been in the news for a few controversies now. Last year, he faced backlash after social media users accused him of liking a post that mocked Palestinians and he also featured in a clip with stickers reading “Zionism is sexy.” Consequently, calls for a boycott of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things or for Schnapp’s removal from his role as Will Byers emerged online.
Earlier this year, he shared a video on TikTok to clarify his stand on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. Schnapp expressed concern that his “beliefs have been so far misconstrued,” emphasising the need to set the record straight. Opening up about his feelings, Schnapp shared, “I feel like my thoughts and beliefs have been so far misconstrued from anything even close to what I believe, and I wanted to just state from my heart how I feel.”
The actor also shared his desire for peace, safety, and security for all saying, “I only want peace and safety and security for all innocent people affected by this conflict.” He was also in the news after it was claimed that he used the N-word. However, the actor shot down the claims.
