Suniel Shetty’s wife Mana Shetty celebrates her 59th birthday today, August 22. To mark the occasion, the actor posted an adorable unseen picture with his better half on her special day. He shared the post on Instagram and penned a heartfelt note which read, “Happy birthday wifey… my fellow Leo, partner, best friend and confidant.” In the monochrome snapshot, the couple could be seen sharing a warm hug. Suniel looked handsome in a formal shirt, while Mana opted for a casual T-shirt.
As soon as the actor dropped the enduring picture, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and celebs. Tiger Shroff commented, “Happy birthday Mana Aunty.” Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Happy birthday Mana!! Loads of love.” Bigg Boss 3 Winner Vindu Dara Singh wrote, “Happy birthday Bhabhi stay blessed.” Mahima Chaudhry shared, “Wish u a very Happy bday mana.”
After dating for nine years, Suniel and Mana tied the knot on December 25, 1991. They welcomed their first child Athiya in 1992 and their second kid Ahan Shetty in 1995.
Earlier on comedian Bharti Singh’s podcast, the Hera Pheri actor revealed that initially his mother disapproved of the actor’s relationship with Mana and was against their marriage. However, she eventually caved in as Suniel refused to marry anyone else. He added that he told his mother that he would not ruin the lives of two women.
On the work front, Suniel will be next seen in the comedy film, Welcome..To The Jungle, which is slated to hit the screens in December. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, the film has a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor and more.
Recently, reports suggested that the makers of Welcome…To The Jungle have decided to push the release of the film to 2025. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Apart from this, Suniel will reportedly be seen playing his iconic character Shyam in Hera Pheri 3 alongside Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. A formal announcement of the film is yet to be made.
