Tamil superstar Suriya is set to return to silver screens in the lead role with his highly anticipated film Kanguva. It is directed by Siva and will be released in theatres worldwide on October 10. Apart from the Jai Bhim actor, the film stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu and Kovai Sarala in the prominent roles. The film is produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green and UV Creations. A source close to the production exclusively revealed to Pinkvilla that the film is set to feature the actor in three different looks. Moreover, the source also mentioned that the actor has undergone a rigorous transformation for the different characters and each one of them would be essential to the story, adding their distinct layers.

Following this announcement, the news has created a massive stir in the entertainment industry as the release date of the film clashes with the release date of the film Vettaiyan starring superstar Rajinikanth.
