The second season of Bhuvan Bam’s Taaza Khabar will be released on OTT on September 27. The actor and YouTube sensation shared that this project is not just a series but a representation of his real life. Bhuvan will be seen as Vasant Gawde in the series. He said, “Taaza Khabar is not just a series; It is a story of my life. Playing the character of Vasant was easy because the role is the same as I am in real life. His ambition to reach new heights and his dedication towards serving his family are the same as my dreams.”
“This time, the audience will get a chance to see new complexities in the character and I am eager to see how they respond to it,” Bhuvan added. The series is directed by Himank Gaur while it is produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Production. It features well-known celebrities like Shriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Deven Bhojani, Shilpa Shukla, Prathamesh Parab, Nitya Mathur and others.
The upcoming series will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. Producer Rohit Raj said, “I have loved the first part of Taaza Khabar and the journey from poor to rich with a local Mumbai flavour and twist. Witnessing Bhuvan’s journey through Taaza Khabar has been enriching from an acting perspective, and his journey is set to move forward and upward, as the day goes on. Season 2 will stream from September 27.”
According to reports, Bhuvan Bam is presently working on a new song. He recently shared that he feels lucky that he got the chance to work with popular lyricist and singer Swanand Kirkire on this series. According to a report by IANS, the two have collaborated on a new song for the series’s second season. He mentioned that working with Swanand Kirkire was a dream come true for him. Bhuvan also stated that he will cherish the moments of working with such a veteran singer for life.
