Actor Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film GOAT, also called The Greatest Of All Time. According to reports, the shooting of the film was recently taking place in Puducherry, where a large number of the actor’s fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him, but were left disappointed.
The shooting was being held at the premises of AFD Textile Mill. On the shoot’s third day, more fans arrived at the sets in hopes of meeting Vijay, disrupting the traffic on the Puducherry-Cuddalore Road. According to reports, fans waited for more than 2 hours to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor, but it was later revealed that Vijay did not participate in the shoot that day. This left the fans disappointed.
Thalapathy Vijay is currently in the headlines for his future political ventures, as the actor recently launched his party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam. Vijay aims to contest for the 2026 Tamil Nadu polls.
Vijay’s GOAT is being directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Laila, Parvati Nair and others. It is being produced under the banner of Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh, under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The music in the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Vijay was last seen in Leo, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Released on October 19, 2023, the film proved to be one of the biggest releases of the year, collecting more than Rs 600 crore at the box office.
