Vicky Kaushal is one of the leading names in Bollywood at the moment, appearing in the recently released, Bad Newz. The actor is not only known among the masses for his acting talent but he is also a popular social media user, who shares small glimpses from his personal life featuring his loving family.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, the Masaan actor shared an image of his favourite dessert on the platform’s Story section. The image is a close-up of a white bowl filled with a noodle-like dessert, soaked in milk. According to the caption below, the dish is made by his mother, Veena Kaushal. The actor wrote, “Maa ke haath ki seviyan,” complete with mouth water and a heart emoticon. Vicky chose to attach the song Tareefan as the background song to the heartwarming image, which is a collaboration between Badshah and Qaran.

Vicky Kaushal was recently seen in Bad Newz, which was theatrically released on July 19. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk as the leads. The cast also includes Neha Dhupia, Sheeba Chaddha and Faisal Rashid, also featuring cameos from Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma.

It is produced by Karan Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar. Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari under the banners of Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective and Amazon Prime. The music in the film is handled by composers like Rochak Kohli, Vishal Mishra, DJ Chetas-Lijo George, Prem-Hardeep and more. Debojeet Ray has done the cinematography and Shan Mohammed is the editor. The film revolves around the rare condition of heteropaternal superfecundation, where the twin fetuses in a mother’s womb belong to two separate fathers.

In a recent interview, the actor revealed the reason behind saying yes to the movie. According to Vicky, he wanted to explore the genre of comedy, something he had not worked on before. Even though he was working in the genre for the first time, he was comfortable working on it.
