Vijay Deverakonda extended birthday wishes to Mahesh Babu and urged the Telugu superstar to return to the big screen soon.

Pan India star Vijay Deverakonda continues to carve his niche in the entertainment industry while honouring those who supported him. It’s well known that Deverakonda is a huge admirer and deeply respects Mahesh Babu, as he often says positive things about him. Each year, the young actor wishes the superstar on his birthday with a sweet message and this year was no different. Taking to his Instagram story, Deverakonda shared a touching birthday tribute and urged the Sarkaru Vaari Paata star to return to the big screen soon. Along with his warm wishes, the Arjun Reddy actor shared a stylish photo of the birthday boy.

Although the two Telugu stars haven’t worked together on screen, they frequently meet each other on film sets or at events. In 2018, Deverakonda visited the set of Mahesh’ film Maharshi and in the following year, he had the opportunity of being the chief guest at the film’s pre-release event, which was a proud moment for Deverakonda. Meanwhile, sharing the birthday wish for the Prince of Tollywood, Deverakonda wrote, “Happy Birthday Mahesh Babu Sir. Don’t make us wait too long to see you on the big screen. Wishing you health and happiness.”

As per Tollywood news, during the pre-release event of Maharshi, Vijay Deverakonda showered praise on Mahesh Babu, by stating, “It is difficult to call Mahesh Babu as ‘sir’. But Still I am trying hard. I am a big fan of Mahesh Babu and since childhood I used to stand in queues at Konark theatre in Dilsukhnagar for tickets of his movies. I want to say my fans to watch Mahesh Babu’ films. When my movie Pelli Choopulu was released. I was surprised after seeing the tweet which was made by Mahesh Babu. I was shocked when Mahesh said, ‘Vijay Deverakonda is terrific.’ So I am requesting to Mahesh Babu sir, please keep tweeting about me and my movies.”

Deverakonda recently impressed fans with his cameo as Arjuna in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD and played the lead in The Family Star alongside Mrunal Thakur. The actor will be next seen in VD12 by Gowtam Tinnanuri, another untitled film with director Rahul Sankrityan and an action thriller with Ravi Kiran Kola. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu, who last appeared in Guntur Kaaram, has been busy preparing for his next major role in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus, tentatively titled SSMB29.
