On Saturday, Ravi Kiran Kola took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle and dropped a picture with Vijay Deverakonda and Dil Raju, announcing their upcoming film. The yet-to-be-titled film will mark the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Ravi Kiran Kola.
While the director did not announce the title of the film, he assured that it would surely “wreak havoc”. “It’s time for our vicious dynamite to be lit. It’s time now, to make our vision a reality. @TheDevarakonda *fire and hug face emojis). Let’s wreck havoc, you and I. @SVC_official #DilRaju garu #Sirish garu.#SVC59. Together we WILL deliver a promising film. See you on 9th. Until next time,” he wrote.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda was recently also seen in Dil Raju’s Family Star. The film revolves around Govardhan (played by Vijay Deverakonda), a middle-class man devoted to his family’s happiness. His unexpected romance is a key focus of the film. Directed by Parasuram, Family Star also featured Mrunal Thakur in the lead. The film received a decent response from the audience and critics.
Recently, Family Star saw its OTT release when it premiered on Prime Video. Talking about the same, Vijay said in a statement, “Playing Govardhan in ‘The Family Star’ was a deeply rewarding experience. He is your ideal yet real hero, someone who shoulders the responsibility of his entire family without complaining or seeking recognition for the personal sacrifices he makes. His journey reflects the everyday struggles and triumphs of the middle class, which will resonate with audiences across cultures.”
