Armaan Malik and Aashna Shroff won the internet when they dropped their adorable proposal photos on Instagram earlier in August. Armaan had also released a new music video titled Kasam Se – The Proposal, giving glimpses into the romantic surprise proposal that he had planned for Aashna. He shared that he had written this song for her and performed it for her while proposing. Now, nearly two months later, the couple held a formal engagement ceremony.
On Sunday night, October 22, Armaan and Aashna got formerly engaged at a ceremony held in the presence of their friends and family. Armaan shared photos from the night on his Instagram story. While Aashna looked stunning in a white saree with flowers printed on it, Armaan looked dapper in a beige suit.
In one photo, the couple were seen indulging in a passionate kiss as they held their drinks in their hands and stood in front of a surreal backdrop of pink and white roses and lush greenery, decorated with yellow lights. Another photo featured the couple exchanging their rings in front of a neon sign that read, “Your leap of faith made me put my faith in you.”
Armaan Malik and Aashna Shroff have been in a relationship since 2019 reportedly. While the duo never spoke about their relationships officially, they never shied away from expressing their love for each other. Earlier, a source told Hindustan Times, “They are not hiding their relationship so it’s weird that no one (from the media) is aware of their relationship. Everyone in the influencers circuit is aware that Aashna is dating Armaan”. Another source close to Malik added, “Armaan doesn’t hide it but why does he need to speak about it? He will speak about it when he feels like it.” Soon after, Armaan proposed to Aashna in the most dreamy fashion and set romance goals high for all the young couples out there.
