Bhumi Pednekar is the brand ambassador for “Dimensions Mumbai” this year at the MAMI film festival. It is a short film competition based on the city of Mumbai. Dimensions Mumbai is open to young filmmakers aged 18 to 25 from all across the country, but their submissions have to be based on Mumbai-related issues.

Upon partnering with Jio MAMI, Bhumi Pednekar had earlier remarked, “I am thrilled to be a part of Dimensions Mumbai this year. It’s an incredible platform for young filmmakers; it empowers them to tell personal stories that mean something to them.” She added, “As a proud Mumbaiite who is always amazed and excited by the city, I can’t wait to interact with some of these filmmakers, watch their films, and if I am able to positively impact their craft, I will be very happy and grateful for that.”

Bhumi Pednekar started her acting career in 2015 with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. She went on to play significant roles in Pati Patni Aur Woh, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Badhaai Do, Govinda Naam Mera, and others. She was last seen in Thank You For Coming.
