The much-anticipated Marathi sequel, Jhimma 2, directed by Hemant Dhome and jointly produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L Rai and Kshitee Jog, is set to hit theatres on November 24. The film, featuring the same cast as its predecessor, centres around a group of women reuniting to celebrate the 75th birthday of actress Suhas Joshi. As part of the movie’s promotional activities, actress Sayali Sanjeev recently shared a photo on Instagram, showcasing unique nail art. The film’s promotion has gained momentum with song releases, reality show appearances, and events attended by the cast.
In the latest trending post Sayali Sanjeev, the actress promoted Jhimma 2 by styling her nails differently. She wrote Jhimma on one nail while 2 is written on the other nail. She painted her nails in blue colour and wrote Jhimma on them with white paint. On the other nail, she wrote 2 with the blue and orange colour combination. Apart from her promotional tactic, the actress’s sartorial choices are also gaining appreciation from her fans. Sayali Sanjeev has donned a blue colour blazer which beautifully compliments her nail art.

The teaser made its grand debut on the official YouTube channel of Rajshri Marathi on October 30. It immediately went viral. It amassed thousands of views and likes. Fans enthusiastically flocked to the comment section to share their excitement for the movie. One of the users praised Hemanth Dhome’s films and said that his movies always look technically sound and that such films are the needed in Marathi Film Industry.
The first part of the film was released in 2021. It was the second-highest-grossing Marathi movie of 2021. Apart from Sonali Kulkarni and Mrunmayi Godbole, all the actors will be playing their roles similar to the prequel. The makers have also introduced fresh faces to the audience, namely the talented actresses Rinku Rajguru and Shivani Surve hence adding new dimensions to the story.
