Ranbir Kapoor has been ruling headlines ever since the release of his latest movie Animal. While several videos from the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial are going viral on social media, a new behind-the-sets clip has surfaced online in which Ranbir Kapoor can be seen enjoying with his on-screen cousins.
In the video, three of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ cousins can be seen sitting inside a car along with the actor. All of them look dapper in black formal attire. While Ranbir is seen driving the car, others happily record the video. At one point in the viral clip, Ranbir also looks towards the camera and flaunts his million-dollar smile. What Is The Plot of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal?
Released on December 1, Animal revolves around a man and his toxic relationship with his father. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film shows Vijay (played by Ranbir) as an anti-hero who would go to any lengths to protect his father, including gun down 200 people with machine gun. However, despite his efforts, he struggles to get a seal of approval from his emotionally unavailable father (played by Anil Kapoor). His unhealthy relationship with his father impacts his relationship with his wife (played by Rashmika Mandanna).
Animal Is Ruling Box Office Worldwide
Animal has been accused of glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity by several social media users. However, despite everything, the film is going immensely well at the box office. According to Sacnilk.com, Animal has collected Rs 398.53 crores in just nine days in India. It has also crossed Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office. With this, Ranbir Kapoor starrer has become the fourth biggest film of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, followed by Pathaan and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
