Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 80th birthday today. Besides his fans, the entire film fraternity has taken to social media to wish Big B and express their love and respect for him. Several celebrities like Rajinikanth, Karan Johar, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Ananya Panday, Ajay Devgn and Subhash Ghai among others penned love-filled birthday wishes for him.
Now, Shershaah actor Sidharth Malhotra took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his fanboy moment with the legendary actor. In the video, Sidharth can be seen approaching Big B as he enters a set. He greets him and hugs him and then requests him to sign the poster of the film Deewaar. Deewaar is one of the most iconic films of Amitabh Bachchan, which also starred Shashi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Parveen Babi.

Meanwhile, as part of his birthday celebrations, the Film Heritage Foundation (FHF) launched a four-day film festival titled Bachchan Back To The Beginning beginning on October 8 that will feature 11 of Amitabh’s iconic films.
Talking of his birthday celebrations, it is going to be lowkey this year. Mid-Day reported that Amitabh Bachchan will be headed to Tirupati with his family and participating in a special puja organised for his birthday. The veteran actor is likely to return on the same day and spend the rest of the evening with his family at his Mumbai home. It is said that the actor has opted for a toned-down birthday celebration due to the demise of his politician-friend Mulayam Singh Yadav. The actor will join his family for a special birthday dinner.
