Sudhanshu Pandey Reunites With His Band Of Boys Members After 24 Years, Video Inside

Sudhanshu Pandey has become a household name ever since he started playing the role of Vanraj Shah in TV show Anupamaa. His character drives the main plot of the daily soap, along with the other leads, Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna. While Sudhashu has surely grabbed attention with his acting skills, he has a dedicated fanbase that adores his singing capabilities. Sudhanshu was once part of a music group, the Band of Boys. While the band dismantles, the members surely share a great bond with each other.

The band members Karan Oberoi, Siddharth Haldipur, Sherrin Varghese, Chintoo Bhosle, and Sudhanshu had a special reunion recently. The group reminisced about their old days and struck a chord with some classic numbers. Sudhanshu Pandey shared a reel of the bandmates singing together and called them the “Bond Of Boys” Expressing his feeling of meeting up with his friends, the actor wrote, “It’s so OVERWHELMING for me to meet and feel the MAGIC with my friends, family and brothers – the ( forever ) BOYS ! Simply just LOVE LOVE LOVE EACH one of them from the bottom of my HEART!”

Sharing the reason behind leaving the band, Sudhanshu had earlier told ETimes, “When we formed the band, we were a group of young boys, who travelled throughout the country and did many shows. I was a bachelor then, but later I got married and had a son. I realised I could not pursue a career just as a singer. I had financial responsibilities since I was living in a city like Mumbai.” He added that it was not an easy decision for him and his bandmate Karan Oberoi was not happy about it and did not want him to opt-out. But in the end, he had to make his decision. Reportedly, The Band of Boys were active from 2001 to 2006. After a painful hiatus in 2006, the band revealed plans to reconvene in 2018 with the remaining three members and a new fourth member, Danny Fernandez.

Speaking about his love for music, Sudhanshu recently told ETimes, “Music and singing come from my heart. It’s something I am very passionate about. I can never lose touch with singing and want to focus more on that, too. Music feeds my soul, and it is almost meditative for me.”

Sudhanshu Pandey has worked on a number of films and television shows during his decades old career. He was seen in Jersey, Singh Is Kinng, Singham among others.
