Gujarat Titans' Robin Minz Meets With An Accident, Superbike Severely Damaged
Robin Minz was riding his Kawasaki superbike when contact with another bike made him lose control; currently under observation

Gujarat Titans’ wicketkeeper-batter Robin Minz met with an accident on Saturday and the 21-year-old is currently under observation. The youngster was riding his Kawasaki superbike when contact with another bike made him lose control. The news was confirmed by his father Francis Minz who further informed that Robin had just minor “bruises" and is currently under observation.

“He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation," says Francis.

The front half of the superbike was severely damaged after the collision and the left-hander had some bruises on his right knee.

Minz had recently come home after playing for Jharkhand in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy quarter-final vs Karnataka. The youngster hit a brilliant 137 in the knockout clash but his ton wasn’t enough as Karnataka progressed after taking first-innings lead.

The stumper was set to join Gujarat Titans for the pre-season camp but it cant be confirmed at this stage whether there will be a delay in his link-up with the squad. The aggressive batter was picked by GT for Rs 3.6 crore at the mini-auction last year and captain Shubman Gill met Minz’s father while leaving from Ranchi after the fourth India-England Test.

Francis Minz is stationed as a security guard at the Ranchi airport and he met all Indian cricketers before they boarded the flight, and spent a lot of time chatting with his son’s captain.
