'Har Baar 400 Paar Karne Waalo ka Haal Dekho': Mohammed Shami's Brutal Dig at South Africa After Batting Collapse
India crushed South Africa by 243 runs for their eighth win in a row at the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Indian cricket team has been firing at all cylinders across departments and the result is their unbeaten run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Rohit Sharma-led side has won eight matches in a row and remains the only team that is yet to taste a defeat in the ongoing competition.

Nearly all their matches have turned out to be one-sided affairs and the sensational form of their bowling attack is a major reason behind this scintillating show.

South Africa were the latest to capitulate against the star-studded India bowling attack as they were skittled for a mere 83 in chase of 327 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Following their crushing win, Mohammed Shami took a dig at the South African batting collapse during a chat with the official broadcasters.

Har Baar 400 Paar Karne Waalo ka Haal Dekho (Look at the state of a team that was crossing 400 runs every match),” Shami said.

Shami continued his dream run in the competition, taking two wickets against South Africa to take his tally to 16 wickets from just four matches.

The 33-year-old had missed India’s first three games as they preferred an allrounder in Shardul Thakur.

However, an injury to allrounder Hardik Pandya forced the team management to make changes in their eleven and they included a couple of specialists in Suryakumar Yadav and Shami.

Shami took a five-for against New Zealand in Dharamsala and followed that with a four-wicket haul against England in Lucknow.

He then took another five-wicket haul, this time against Sri Lanka and also became the leading India wicket-taker in the tournament’s history.

South Africa had lost just one of their matches ahead of the India contest and were expected to give the hosts a stern challenge.

However, India dominated the contest throughout with Virat Kohli hitting a century before Ravindra Jadeja’s five-wicket haul secured a massive 243-run win.
