India’s Covid Tally Crosses 4,000-Mark; Maharashtra Logs 9 Cases of JN.1, Kerala Reports One Death
Amid the ongoing Covid scare with the emergence of new variant JN.1, the Union Health Ministry informed that India on Monday crossed the 4,000-mark, while one death was reported in Kerala. A techie woman was chained, cut and burnt alive on her birthday by a schoolmate on Saturday in Thalambur area on Chennai’s southern outskirts, police said.
